Before becoming an associate director of Barclay Simpson, Russell was already a highly experienced recruitment consultant. He joined Barclay Simpson in 2001 and has been influential in the development of the Company. He has managed the Interim Solutions division and has been involved in establishing the Operational Risk and Compliance recruitment divisions. Russell has extensive knowledge and experience of all areas of corporate governance recruitment. In Hong Kong his focus is on internal audit, risk management and information security.

Matthew has worked in the recruitment industry in Hong Kong since 2005. During this time he has recruited extensively across the risk management, operations and compliance disciplines. At Barclay Simpson, Matthew specialises in risk management recruitment with a particular focus on operational and market risk. Matthew has successfully completed a wide range of mid to senior level contingent and retained assignments across the banking and financial services sector in Hong Kong.

William qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2006, working in corporate finance in London with UK top 30 law firm Halliwells, and then Hong Kong with the international firm Clyde & Co. Prior to joining Barclay Simpson, William worked for a leading global recruitment firm in Hong Kong.  William recruits Hong Kong and International qualified solicitors from Associate to Partner Level across the Asia-Pacific region. He covers both private practice and in-house roles within the banking, finance and commercial sectors. William speaks English and Cantonese.

Simon has worked within the specialist corporate governance recruitment market since 2004. He joined Barclay Simpson in September 2008 having held successful management roles with another leading global recruitment brand. Having worked a broad European risk and compliance remit, Simon was appointed as Country Head of Singapore in late 2011 to enhance Barclay Simpson’s Asia Pacific presence and to help emulate our global recruitment successes.
